    This film provides a counterpoint to the big marketing money used by Monsanto to tell their side of the story. It is beneficial propaganda because it provides the viewer with another point of view.

    I think they targeted genetically modified food too much, and stuff like bigger corn really isn't one of the biggest issues out there right now.

    It's quite astonishing how 85% of the US produced products are genetically engineered. These GMOs might seem like a healthier choice but in reality those products are just mutations. Soon the pests will evolve and genetic engineering will have no beneficial transaction.

    I put this as in the middle of beneficial and harmful. The reason is that is provides another point of view but can be harmful as it is presented as fact but it is not all of the facts. It is an edited version of a topic that many people will not necessarily be able to correctly judge as being one sided.

    We found this to be Plain Folks because no one can tell what's in a gmo unless they made the gmo but we see it as beneficial but wont need to be cared about.

    This is emotionally stirring and probably designed to appeal to women, who may feel guilty for their excessive spending on clothes. It's beneficial if the money goes to increase awareness for the problem of cheap clothing industry, but it's likely to be aggressively opposed by major sectors of the world economy, who see global production of clothing as a good thing.

    This particular trailer employs multiple propaganda techniques to get its point across. The first is appealing to emotions. The narrator tells us that he is in fear for the future well-being of his children. Then once he has the audience hooked, we find out that GMO's are the source of his fear.

    he then positions Monsanto (as well as the U.S. Govt) as opponents of his cause who are in collusion to make money at the expense of the public. He ratchets up the stakes further by mentioning that GMO's are used to "feed the world." I'd say this one is beneficial, although my gripe would be that I would have expected to see more on why the filmmaker is opposed to GMO's in the first place.

    Monsanto is as evil as every other company that doesn't disclose information to the public. Transparency in the food that we eat should be Monsanto's top priority.

    I consider this documentary more beneficial than harmful it is true that is about attacking the big food industries that process most of what we eat and also fast food chains. On the other hand it is important for everyone to be more conscious of the aliments we consume how are they made how beneficial or harmful may be for us. We live in a world that needs to produce more and more of everything for everyone and in that process sometimes industries don't play clean with us and they will do what they can to produce their products the fastest they can and in bigger amounts without really caring of the consumer health.

    Although we have heard this message and it is believable, I take exception to the statistics being presented without credit, and highlighting Monsanto, a 116 year-old company that has tried to improve its products for mass consumption. Without the proper citations of the statistics, for all the viewer knows the producer of the film could have made these up and may have a bias towards Monsanto for other reasons. There are other companies that produce GMO foods but they are not named. Does the producer of the film have irrefutable proof that GMO foods are bad for us, or even scientific reports that may lead us to believe that? Without this information, this is just throwing dirt directly at a company, attacking and possibly harming their reputation without justification. I know that Monsanto has had to legal issues and media reports about them, so I am not blind to the possibilities here, but with this piece of propaganda, I'm basing my rating on "facts" presented without being able to verify them.
