Background Information

Technique Used
Attack Opponents
This is propaganda because
Daily Kos readers would be aware that although Pres. Obama has reduced the deficit (though not the debt), his detractors in the GOP accuse him of fiscal irresponsibility. Daily Kos tries to sway public opinion by turning the attack back on the GOP.

This propaganda is obviously biased and attacks it's opponents.

I think this is dangerous because it is out to harm an entire group of people. Political parties are already and emotionally charged topic, and there is no need to be offensive.

I think this is harmful because it tries to focus on just the idea of reducing the deficit. While republican presidents haven't done that yet, they have done many other things to keep America going.

As an honest question and not one of those rhetorical "to prove a point" questions, would the democratic version of this look any different? Anyway, obviously bad for republicans, but many republicans wouldn't even believe this anyway, so it's really just there to make democrats more angry.

It's both. While Republicans were hypocritical when criticizing Obama, it's not like Democrats are any better with the deficit.

This is harmful propaganda because it attacks the opponents and it biased because it doesn’t show the other side.

This propaganda is harmful because it attacks the opponent. It doesn’t show how many democratic presidents have raised the deficit either. The dems could also be doing badly, but the image shows one side.
