This ad activates strong emotions. I admittedly cry every time I watch this ad. It is trying to influence consumers to support Google and buy Google products. By utilizing a personal story, it makes it more relatable and personable to audiences, and the sadness factor of the ad makes audiences emotional and reminisce about times with their family.
