Graphic: TV Feeds You Garbage

Background Information
This is an image that can easily be classified as propaganda, even though the message of it is against propaganda. I am unsure of where this image originated, or who created it. A friend of mine found it.
Technique Used
Simplify Ideas
This is propaganda because
The image demands that we reconsider television as a medium that destroys our creativity and turns us all into mindless androids, which is an oversimplification of our relationship with media. What is worrisome is that it uses propaganda to try and dismantle other propaganda, without any hint of irony.

This is a example of propaganda by making us feel that T.V is killing our imagination. This message is very beneficial to people of all ages in our generation. This is most likely being sold in magazines or printed onto billboards. This is appealing to self-esteem, its makes us open our eyes and realize T.V is killing imagination , and if we watch less T.V we'd be better off.

This message qualifies as propaganda, because it shows us that the Television destroys our imaginations and that everything it shows is a lie, and whoever made this wants us to avoid being influenced by it. This is somewhat beneficial, because it gives us a good cause to what the T.V. does to our minds and that we can be aware of what it can do. They sell the message by telling us the secrets of a T.V. and what they do to us. This is an appeal to force, because it is telling us to stop using the T.V., because if we don't, it will ruin our imaginations.

This message is propaganda because it is telling children that television is brainwashing them. The form of propaganda used is self-esteem because if you don´t watch television is makes you feel better about yourself. This is beneficial because it informs children that watching television is harmful.

This qualifies as propaganda because it saying how television is destroying our imagination. This is beneficial because it tells us that t.v.is "sugar-coded mindless garbage" that is destroying our imagination. They sell the message by telling us what t.v. actually does to us. This is an appeal to force because it is literally saying that t.v. can destroy our imagination and how harmful that is.
