This sketch can be considered to be propaganda as it uses humor to bring awareness for the unflding of the presidential elections. Furthermore, the sketch is used to criticize and make fun of the two candidates while presenting the unfolding og their first debate.

I believe that this is mostly beneficial and neutral, because even though this propaganda uses humor this propaganda helps bring out the message of what Trump and Hillary Clinton are all about. It shows that the first presidential debate did not really address serious matters, however it was more personal towards each candidate.

SNL is known for its humorous skits poking fun at various events or figures. Rather than necessarily attempting to influence the audience's perspective on Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, I believe the skit more so served to highlight the absurdity of the debates. The skit cuts past the political seriousness of the real debate and illustrates the childish aspects that were presented.

I think it was beneficial for Hillary Clinton as it focused less on her and it showed that she already won. But, it was harmful for Trump, because it focused on him and it used humor , a form of propaganda to spread the message that Trump is immature and he doesn't have the ability as an intellectual to run for president. It's also propaganda because they portrayed both roles intentionally.

My rating represents 30% of others'. This skit displays the various flaws behind both of the candidates' reasoning. It does, though, focus more on ridiculing Mr Trump's actions and policies and should criticise Clinton and Trump equally.

This skit uses humor or bathos as a device to influence the audience. In my opinion it is a neutral type of propaganda that is neither harmful or beneficial, due to the fact that it shows both candidates in a ridiculed, still, similar way to what they really are, but is not made to politically influence the audience, but simply make them laugh.

The interpretation was definitely propaganda, because it met all the elements we listed as being necessary for something to be propaganda. I found the interpretation to be more harmful than beneficial because even though the propaganda is humorous and amusing, the presidential election is not, and it's coming up extremely soon. Either Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton will be the president of the United States, and to make fun of both of them right now is more frightening than funny.

I believe that it is propaganda due to the strong critique to the 2 presidential candidates. I consider it harmful due to the fact that SNL is presenting just the negative characteristics of the candidates without considering the positive one. This could lead to major problems that might rise in the future. Also the humor is based on exaggerations that, even if funny and based on true facts, are dangerous and widely amplified

Within the videoclip humor is used in the attempt of enlightening the audience about the two presidential candidates. It is beneficial as it provided every negative statement that the presidential candidates have claimed. This video may influence our viewpoint about Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
