This image is clearly meant to boost the spirits of women whose husbands were away at war. The woman looks tough and prepared for anything. This would definitely help motivate people to fill in the jobs that were opened up, and needed to be done,

I think this is a great way to persuade people. It uses pathos to make viewers' emotions go towards helping out

I don't like how it was used to boost the morale of woman and now its the "face" of feminism. What is it that they have to fight against? Men? We're hard on everyone like that. Feminists have the exact same rights and opportunities as men. Ex: They want all equal pay? Then they need to go work a 40 hour job, working in the blistering heat, wearing work boots, and digging holes and building houses with scarred and calloused hands and I bet you they'll make the same amount of pay. If they work harder than the man and the boss sees it then the boss will give them a raise and they'll make more than the man. When was the last time you saw a woman working this type of job?

It is making you think about feminism. It makes you think that because it shows a strong women. I think it is an effective way to persuade someone because it is showing that women can be strong too not just men.

    a. The image is trying to make women feel good about themselves and send the message to women that they can do anything they set their mind to. The words say " We can do it" and includes a woman holding up her muscle.

    b. Yes because it shows a woman and has the right words to make a woman encouraged.

    1. This image is trying to make people feel empowered or that they can do something.
What tips me off of this is the sentence below the woman saying, "You Can Do It!"

    2. I think this is better than other propaganda, but is still lacking the emotion to really make you feel.
