2 Euro T-Shirt Experiment
Background Information
Fashion for a bargain - that‘s what everyone wants. A T-Shirt for 2€ isn‘t inconceivable nowadays. Unfortunately, people don‘t often consider who is paying the real price. The campaign is trying to create a revolution within the fashion supply chain by giving a human face to the problem, putting the information right in the plaza of a consumer European city, and stirring emotion.
Technique Used
Simplify Ideas
This is propaganda because
The information given about how t-shirts are made is very simple and black-and-white. The video does not show any people choosing to buy the t-shirt after seeing the video and does not say how many people chose to or not to buy it in the end. It simply equates knowledge with a binary decision, as the closing line reinforces.
