Kids all deserve trees. Adults deserve to be reminded of that. But is this work of art reaching anyone who can do anything about the problem?

This graffiti is propaganda because it is aimed to make people think about the destruction that comes with urbanization. I believe that the message is beneficial because it motivates people to take a look at what they are doing wrong for the environment to be harmed in such ways. The propaganda is selling the piece by including a child, and everyone listens to a child because they are our future. It uses the emotional appeal of associations because it again uses the child as a goal to make the world better for; improve the children's futures by improving the planet.

This is propaganda because it is trying to convince people that we need to cut back on deforestation. This is beneficial because some people don't understand how mankind is destroying nature. This is selling the message by using a young child for Adults to understand children can't have fun in the forest like they did when they were kids. Appeal to pity is strong with in this piece of propaganda.

This message qualifies as propaganda because it shows a child remembering the land filled with trees, possibly his own land, now destroyed by forestation. It's beneficial because it shows the horrors of deforestation on the world, and especially on people. The propagandist is, "selling" the message by showing a young child devastated by the loss of trees. It inflicts a feeling of guilt on the viewer. It primarily appeals to pity. You feel bad for the child because he misses the trees and wants a healthy environment. It could also appeal to force in a strange way. If you keep hurting the environment, the environment could hurt you.

he urban graffiti Banksy has created is appealing to pity and some what of social fears. He is making you feel pity for the child and children to come because they wont get to see nature as much as others once did because they are getting rid of the trees for more buildings and such, which is very sad. We need trees to survive and breathe, a building isnt gong to provide us with oxygen. This is also some what appealing to social fears in a way because they want their children to grow up knowing more then just buildings and it may scare people that their child will grow up around so much pollution and buildings and wont grow up around the beauty of nature.

    2i feel like its beneficial
3they are selling this message by showing pitty to people like to show people that there is a problem with deforestation so they are trying to show a kid being upset to show that you "the people" should show pitty on one another
4Another way they are showing an emotional affect on an person is there self esteem the way the image is setup is for you to feel bad about the kid and if you dont do something about it more then likely your going to get upset that you did nothing about it and think that your a bad person for not helping out

The message qualifies as propaganda because it makes you feel guilty for the kid in the picture. This is harmful because it show what life will be like in a few decades when children will not know what trees were. This is selling the message because it has a sad child in the picture. This has an emotional appeal of guilt because it explains how children in the future will not be able to know what trees looked like.

This message is qualified as propaganda because of its depiction of the brutality others have done to nature making children suffer. This would be considered both harmful and beneficial, shaming those who took down the wildlife and also giving others a chance to clean up their act. The creator of this sell it by making others feel bad at the deforestation wiping out wildlife leaving people in poverty. The emotional appeal present is that of pity. I know this because it is intended to make others feel bad for their destruction.

The picture above presents us with an intentionally emotion tapping message. It was created to get an emotional response to whoever it's shown. That being said it is a beneficial message. It is showing/selling us on the need of awareness to the problem of deforestation. Banksy does this by using a child's innocence to cause an appeal to pity within you.

The picture is propaganda because it is trying to persuade someone's view on deforestation to help stop it. This is very beneficial. The propagandist is selling the message by using a sad child to remind people of their happy childhood and they would feel bad for that kid that did not have any trees. This appeals to pity because the propagandist uses the innocence of a child and he makes you pity the child.

I agree with Allyson R. this message shows us young child and making us to have pity for him and what it says next to him. This message is also making us feel bad for ourselves not just because of the child, but because of the power in the words. The words trigger something in us that make us feel bad for ourselves because of what we've done to our own planet, our home.

This message qualifies to propaganda because its persuading people to think that all these buildings and structures are in place of trees. This is beneficial to society because it makes us think that we already have enough room instead of taking down more trees, just take down abandon housing and buildings. They"re selling this message by using a scared little boy and graffiti. The emotional appeal would be pity because there is a little boy on a wall with red paint.

The message is propaganda because its aiming at the negative effects of industrialization and how its destroying the forests. This propagandist is selling the message by using a child who looks upset and he acts out using graphite to get his message across. i feel this aims at the social fears emotional appeal, because it seems like the kid is upset how society has evolved and if we dont stop destroying the forests then nature will soon vanish
