benneficial, because it makes you notice how many people have passed away from the actions of guns, and that people should stop using them.

It is a form of fear, because people in the USA get shot with guns more than some countries combined.

A little weird that they would have a picture of a gun on a poster that is pretty much symbolizing that guns are bad

The technique used here was a factual perspective; numbers don't lie.

I chose the very harmful rating on this picture, along with 28% of people. I chose it because it says guns murdered people, when it's not the gun doing the murdering, it is the person pulling the trigger. This is an intense topic.

I think this could be more beneficial if they listed a source and who were behind the guns that caused the deaths...armed officials? Illegal owners of guns?

This poster clearly displays only a few facts, and does aim to incite emotion, which is why I gave it slightly north of a "beneficial" only rating--which most people did. I really like the message so I also found myself trying very hard to be objective.

I think that this ad was beneficial for Brady Campaign’s stance on preventing gun violence. It shows how many people were killed by guns in different countries and showed how the US had the most fatalities (11,344 compared to all of the other countries not even going above 200). The GOD BLESS AMERICA written towards the bottom is to make the viewer rethink America’s amendment on the right to bear arms.

I responded moderately to this advertisement. I do think it plays heavy on emotions with the use of the facts and the picture.

This ad forces people to think critically about what our nation really stands for. I personally find it a harmful thing that so many people are being murdered in this country and I believe that Americans should consider gun control.

For the most part, people agreed with me. I found this an excellent example of activating emotion. It's clearly stated, grabs attention, and gives truthful insight.

Simple but very effective at raising awareness of this issue--the numbers rather speak for themselves.

I believe this ad is beneficial. It uses facts and visuals to incite emotion and bring about awareness to an important topic. The numbers are shocking which is their goal, but are necessary to be taken into consideration. The ad is not misleading and reads exactly what the campaign and image is about: "Preventing gun violence".

I think this is very impactful. I voted beneficial and majority people voted the same. It gets straight to the point of how gun laws in our country need to be updated.

This uses some statistical information to show the impact of civilian gun ownership and a lack of restrictions on firearms.
