The image is showing that we are tied up with our phones and we don't realize it. tis is an effective way to persuade someone because it is a real life problem

I think this image is trying to make me feel like i'm on my phone too much because of the phone and the way he is holding the charger cord. I do not think this is effective because it doesn't say anything on the image or have anything else on it. It's a little too simple.

I think the image is trying to show us that using our phones all the time isn't good and that our phones wont let us do anything else. I think the cord wrapped around the hands shows that we are attached to our phones and we cant separate. I think this is sorta an effective way to get people off there phones, I think this because it really shows that we are basically held by our phones and cant do everyday things without them.

The image is trying to make you get off your phone. It is trying to make you feel guilty that you are on your phone to much. It specifically makes me think that because it looks like you're handcuffed to the phone. I think it is an effective way to persuade people because it will make them realize that they are hooked on their phones too much and will make them want to do something better with their lives.

This image is trying to tell me that we are all tied up in our phones and that we should be off them more the part that tells me this is the guys hands rapped up in the iPhone cable.

I dont think its too effective specifically because this generation is born and raised off of technology and phones.

this shows how our generation is so dependent and obsessed with cell phones i think this is slightly true but they are also very helpful we are on them to much but they provide us with many beneficial things i put this in the middle because its true but a little over board

I believe this shows that we are literally tied to our phones, and devices. (It's also ironic since i am writing this on a device) This is an effective way to show and tell us how we are tied to our phones since they are so addictive.

This image is trying to make me think about how my phone is trapping me and taking up all of my time. The cords wrapped around his hands are what made me think because they are like handcuffs. I think this is an effective way because the cords being a=handcuffs really make you think about how much time you are spending on your phone and if your phone really is trapping you.

This images is trying to make me feel that the internet is trapping us and we can't get out.the reason i think that is because there is a phone and a phone chord is trying up the hands. It is very effective because we always use our phone and electronics and i think that we shoudl stop using them for everything.

I think that this is relatively accurate, but people have more self control than people realize. I think it's a lot of stereotypes personally. It could just be the fact that I really hope people don't actually feel locked down by their phones.

This image is a very good representation of my sad generation which is completely controlled by cellphones. Phones and social media literally have people by the throat these days, and I can admit I'm one of them. We all know we're addicted, but we won't do anything about it. More people should see this picture.

I think the image is trying to make us feel like there is more to life and that we shouldn't spend all this time on our phones. It makes me think that because it has the phone cord wrapped around the persons wrists so they can't get out. I think this is a good way to persuade someone because it shows the truth that we are on our phones too much.

I feel like this is saying that we are a prisoner to our phones and that phones basically control us and make us feel like were trapped, I think this is a good way to show what phones these days do to us.

i think that being attached to your phone isn't the best because you won't or aren't doing anything outside of being on your phone

    a) This image is trying to make me not use my phone as much, and interact with people face to face then on a screen. The specific part about this image that makes me think this is the cord wrapped around the persons wrists.
    b) I do think this is an effective way because a lot of people use their phone and the cord wrapped around the wrists is like manipulation.

It is trying to get you to stop using your phone, the person is handcuffed in their phone charger.

No, because phones are very important and its used in every day life, its just impossible to get people to stop using it

I rated this piece beneficial. Phone addiction is something that is so common today, walking down the streets people do not even look where they are walking, rather they look at their Instagram feed. For many people it's a challenge to not look at their phone for five minutes, even in work, class, driving, etc. It's become such an easy habit, unlock the screen and you can view any social media, talk to any friend, and browse the web, it's almost as if the phone is chained to their hands. That is essentially what this piece is insisting on. That phones have actually handcuffed people to the point where they can not put theirs down, no matter where they are. In this photo the person get up, go on with their day, but it wouldn't take long for them to grab their phone, open it up and use it , much like everybody else. People may go on with their day, but it is almost as if they are trapped in the addiction to the idea that they need to look at their phone.

I rated this piece as beneficial. Today people are inseparable from their phones, and it is obvious. Whether walking down the streets or even driving people can't put down their phone for more thn five minutes. More interested in the digital word rather than what is actually going on in society. It is almost as if people are chained to their phone. As if people can only wait so long until looking at their phone because it's holding them back/driving them insane.

It is harmful because it makes it seem like people are tied to their phones when this is not always the case.

This shows how we are tied to our phones but the phone companies might not like that.
