This image went viral on Facebook the week of 3/24/13. People were encouraged to use it as their FB profile picture to show support for marriage equality during a week when the Supreme Court would begin hearing two cases that impacted gay marriage.

This is propaganda because
It uses an equals sign to raise awareness for support of gay marriage. By posting it to FB, the chance of people seeing it increases. A record number of people changed their profile pic to some version of this, so as to associate their personal 'brand' with the cause. No danger except blind obedience to FB.
