Media Kills the Truth

Background Information
This is a political cartoon showing how the media demolishes the truth. The soldiers show the icons of various media outlets. Truth looks like an innocent victim.
Technique Used
Activate Emotion
This is propaganda because
This creates a simplistic story of good and evil with the "bad guys" -- the media -- and the "good guy" -- the innocent, pure & female truth. Life - and news -- is not this simple.

It's a good example to show how western media covers up the truth through a great deal of sensationalism and distorts it to make more money for themselves. It is highly beneficial to show how greed and cupidity changes human hearts and affects things around them, and for this case it was the media. Now we may show our generation to be more discerning and open minded to many other outlets of media to gain a wider range of coverage when it comes to news. The truth matters, and being able to sift through the media rubble is a real skill in order for people to find the truth.

It is harmful because it is slandering the news networks and making them seem like all they do is lie

It shows how the news stretches or demolishes the truth which is beneficial to the people to know that sometimes what they are hearing is wrong.

I believe this is harmful to news companies because its saying they all lie. Even if its the truth its still harmful.

It is interesting that the exact image has been used and edited for propaganda in Romania. Instead of foreign media, the Romanian version of course is presenting local parties and media outlets
