The New Kid | Doritos Commercial

Background Information
There is a boy who is starting a new school. Before he gets on the bus, his mom hands him a bag of doritos and says "try to make friends." He is quietly sitting on the bus eating his doritos and then he offered the girl nect to him a dorito. Shortly after, another boy on the bus screamed "the new kid is handing out doritos!" Everyone starts swarming the boy trying to eat his chips, even the bus driver. The bus doesn't have anyone controlling it so it eventually crashes. It then fast forwards to the boy in a neck brace and sling. He aggressively hands the bag of doritos back to his mom and says "you make friends!"
Technique Used
Activate Emotion
This is propaganda because
This commercial displays propaganda in many ways. It uses activating emotion, as it uses emotions rather than stating facts about the chip. This commercial implies that bringing doritos are "cool" and will make you "popular." It tells a story without giving the facts. When viewers see this, they think that bringing doritos will help them fit in and be liked by others.
