the video doesn't say what it is trying to advertise before the end of the video. It is beneficial because it provokes emotions, but it doesn't say that you have your country by not fighting

this ad for the armed forces in norway shows nothing of the actual millitary, but more of the national feeling of being from norway, thisngs norwegians can relate to in some kid of way. norway is not in war, so i dont believe its very harmful, it does give abit of a wrong impression og the ad tho

Considering that people in Norway do not need to go in the military, the advertisement is not that harmful. people will be affected to become more aware, and some maybe afraid for living. We do need to think about how much we actually are affected by this advertisements, considering that the government has affected this advertisement video.

I think that this is propagande, but not necessarily a negative type of propaganda. The video is trying to influence and shape Norwegians perception of Norway. In the video we can see many different things in our country that are supposedly worth defending, and the army uses these to recruit people. I might be biased since I am Norwegian, and I must say that I feel a certain connection to the things displayed in the video, but not in that degree that it makes me want to join the army.

This vedio is kinda manipulating because it is very much appealing to the emotions.
It makes you raise your national pride untill you know that its about joining the army, and if you cant join; it makes you feel guilty

The way I see it, one could say the video is propaganda, but if so it is very mild. It takes advantages of the national pride Norwegian citizens have in their country, in this case trying to make people join the army to therefore defend the country. It does not try to put guilt upon the ones not wanting to join, it does not say you have to join the army, it only shows footage of the country. The video worked atleast in the way "Forsvaret" wanted to on me.

They don't show the military at all and make it sound like the perfect way of helping the country without mentioning what difference it will make. They don’t say anything about the military and what it actually involves to be a part of it.
