This image qualifies as propaganda because it is advertising to persuade.
This is harmful because Chevrolet is using a tragedy to advertise their cars and company name.
The ad is selling the message with the death of an idol.
Appeal to association because Prince was a well loved singer therefore Chevrolet is benefiting from his name. Appeal to pity is also present in the picture because Chevrolet wants the reader to feel bad for this tragedy

This is propaganda because the company is using Prince's death as a way to endorse themselves. I guess it's more harmful than beneficial because they are using a death to help themselves, but its not like it's really hurting anybody. It's just a tribute. The propagandist is using association by making you think of their company whenever you hear "Little Red Corvette"

This is propaganda because this speaks to its audience and influences them. This is harmful because this ad is using a death of someone who was very famous and loved. This ad taps into the emotion of Prince's death to its advantage. They are using association so whenever you hear "Little Red Corvette" you think of Chevorlet.

I agree with Alejandro because many big company's do things like this and they are using pity to get people to buy their car

This qualifies as propaganda because it's uses the nostalgia of prince to move the grieving fans of him, while also promoting the own brand.
This is message is beneficial to the company, since it promotes their brand while also doing in a good light and also giving a small tribute to prince.
The company doing the propaganda is selling their message by using a car that pays tribute to prince, but they are also a car company, so by sending this message it will make people want to buy from their company more, and less from other companies.
The appeal the company is using is association, they are associating the positive symbol of prince withe their company.

I agree with Inari's comment that this was used in response to Prince's death to give his fans that nostalgia while promoting the car brand. Her explanation is clear and let's you know what this means and who it is referring to.

This qualifies as propaganda because it is displaying a song quote as what happens in reality. This is harmful because what is being displayed is someones death. The emotional appeal is pity because it want you to feel bad about the death.

This message qualifies because in a way its like a memorial for prince. in tribute they used an old red corvette that he made a song about. They used the corvette to get the attention of many car collectors i feel like and many prince fans would know where this message is coming from due to the lyric that is present in the poster. i feel that its appealing toward associations because its symbolizing the old chevy and prince to get a positive response from the audience
