It is harmful because people will think that all Muslims are terrorist. It can also affect the life of Muslims because people might do something bad to them.

This is some of the most harmful examples of propaganda, as this person takes the worst moment of a small group of people and uses it do broadcast his judgement of an entire society.

In the propaganda visual of the truck with the "all I need to know about Islam is what I learned on 9/11" its purpose is masked by the irony from the confederate flag on the back windshield. Its audience definitely targets ignorant white folk due to the confederate flag and racist subliminal messaging on the license plate. It was probably successful to recruit or appeal to the ignorant people of the US. However, overall the irony takes over of the confederacy not being able to accept a loss and now they just want to fight Islam.

I think this is very harmful because the truck shows a picture of 9-11 and basically saying that all of Islam is terrorism when most Muslims or people of the Islamic faith do not agree with the terrorist. It can also change people's point of view on Muslims because they would only think of this.

This truck is propaganda because it displays religious discrimination without any reasoning to back it up. This propaganda was created to target white supremacists and puts down those of the Islam faith. The coded language suggests that Muslims are connected to Hitler and does not back it up.

This ad is very harmful because it is spreading hate about the Islamic religion. Just because the person who bombed the Twin Towers was Muslim, people shouldn't be lead to believe that every Muslim is bad.

This ad campaign is very harmful. Not only does it spread hate about religion, it harms the truck driver because now everyone knows how uncultured and dense they must really be to stereotype a whole religion based on the actions of few.

This conveys a message through shock value and a fear factor, and can be effective in doing such. However, this type of propaganda would most likely receive a massive amount of negative backlash

This is clearly an example of propaganda because it is trying to scare people into agreeing with the statement. This type of propaganda would only work with a certain group of people, and would make a lot of people mad that someone would say this

This example is propaganda because the owner of this car is trying to spread a harmful message about the Islamic religion. The owner establishes this message by evoking a powerful emotion - fear, by using the horror of 9/11 to make people think that all Muslims are terrorists and bad people. However,, this is not true.

I think that this ad is trying to say that all Muslims are bad and that they are all terrorists. That would really persuade some people that really love there countries and want retribution.

This is harmful to all Muslims because it is basically stereotyping them and saying that they are all bad. This ad is targeting Muslims by convincing people that they are bad and white supremacists to have them agree.

I voted this as the most harmful on the scale. 77% of the votes were the same as mine. I think this is done by someone who is unaware of their surroundings and ignorant to most things in life. The symbols on the plate are extreme and I would not have known the meaning if not for the background information. Something like this spreads animosity like wildfire and can effect people around. Seeing this, no matter the ethnicity/race, this can be offensive. This can be taken to the heart and ultimately the person driving can turn themselves into a target for angry people to confront.

Blaming an entire group of people for the act of a few individuals is really bad. No one should be proud to support this. Even just supporting Hitler is enough to show what kind of person that owns this car. I would stay far away from this person.

What I find disturbing about this form of propaganda is that people encounter it in everyday situations, like at the grocery store or when going to the mall. It seems like the placement of it on the back of the truck somehow personalizes the propaganda -- and brings it close to home. It may increase my fear of my neighbors, knowing that people with these attitudes live nearby.

Stereotyping by religion has become acceptable, sadly.
