Technique Used
Attack Opponents
This is propaganda because
This is an example of beneficial propaganda that encourages us to think about who Donald Trump truly is. I do feel that this propaganda is an example of attacking opponents because parts of it come off very combative.

This is an interesting one. John Oliver has said on the show many times that because HBO is a paid service, he is in no way obligated to promote their views. However, just from that statement, you can tell that I'm a John Oliver fan! The question of course becomes, what isn't he sharing? I however, consider this a beneficial piece of propaganda.

Definitely see this as beneficial. This format is essentially a crash course on all things Trump, while also providing humor to keep you interested. However, i feel that most of his viewers (speaking as a frequent viewer of his) are already aware of Trump's views and rhetoric. So it's always unfortunate that the people that need to see this the most (i.e. trump supporters) won't, purely for being a critical piece on Trump.

I would have to say that I do feel this clip with John Oliver does come off as propaganda that is attacking an opponent. I do not think it comes off as too strong, because it does intend to provide issues for thought.
