Angel Families

Context
This group of about 30 families includes parents whose children were killed by undocumented immigrants. One attended the Republican National Convention to share the story of her son’s 2012 death in a motorcycle crash involving an undocumented immigrant who was convicted of manslaughter. Their travel costs are paid for by a newly created government agency and they amplify President Trump's argument that immigrants are dangerous.

    I don't want to discredit the families who lost people they love, but the amount of illegal immigrants here and the positive impact they have on our society, greatly outnumber the crimes some of them commit. This paints all illegal immigrants as criminals, when in actuality most are good people just trying to survive like the rest of us.
