    While the existence of such parties may be legitimate, I don't see why these parties are any scarier than the kinds of parties teenagers have thrown for decades. Drinking and drug use do happen at high school parties, and those activities carry risks that are worth keeping in mind. The crux of this story, however, seems to be that Facebook has increased the reach - and thus, the attendance and the number of teens placing themselves at risk. And while I would agree that it's risk to abuse nitrous oxide (as well as alcohol and any other drugs), this story doesn't mention a rise in drug-related deaths among teens. The story seems only to say "teenagers are going to the kinds of parties their parents (and neighbors) don't agree with". It plays on the fear that these parties are somehow more dangerous that the kinds of parties teenagers would normally be going to, without really supporting that assertion. I wouldn't say that parents should turn a blind eye to this sort of behavior, just that they really have no reason to be any more afraid of these kinds of parties than they would be for every other type of party their teenagers might want to attend.

    I think this was pretty harmful, and they made it a point to make Facebook the culprit for these parties. I don't think that Facebook should be blamed for these parties or linked to them because they aren't directly responsible for them. Facebook makes it easier to contact people to attend these parties, but they should not be punished for this.

    The reporter stated, " and its all because of Facebook." This is not true, these parties are happening because people have chosen to put them on. They may use Facebook as a way to spread information about the party but it is not facebooks fault that the party is happenijng, or that drugs are their.

    I believe that the message is to inform people on how drug parties can be very dangerous to teens at a young age explaining how dangerous drug parties are the target audience is young teens the advertisement is to inform because it shows what drugs teens do and i think persuade them to get off the drugs

    I don't think this video gets to the root of the problem. It blames Facebook for the parties, and for kids having access to the parties, but for the most part ignores any other issues with how kids are getting in these situations. Facebook isn't necessarily the problem, it's just a small part of it. Another factor is parent involvement in their kids' lives, and monitoring how their kids are using the Internet.

    I agree completely with the description and find the high amount of harmful ratings to be surprising. letting the public know about something like this can help parents be aware and keep the kids safe.
