This is harmful because it shows how confusing our common core school system can be. Children can be doing something and put thought into it, but it is stilled marked wrong because it isn't the exact answer.

She is slamming common core math which is rude but also the math question is stupid and doesn’t make sense so one might be able to see this moms frustrations.

It is negative because it is slamming common core math and that may just be a bad question, but it could be positive because the girl shouldn’t have gotten the answer wrong because her math was right.

This is harmful because it's not properly teaching kids how to do certain skills in math. Just teaching kids to estimate isn't right.

I was kind of in the minority here. I do think it is kind of harmful, but only because it was the wrong question for that skill. If the worksheet was specifically about estimating, I do not think it was a very good worksheet. However, I do understand parent and teacher struggles with common core math.

This is harmful because it's not teaching kids the core math skills they should be learning. Math is not all about estimating, but this picture shows that math should just entirely be estimating.

I think this is harmfull propaganda because it encourages estimating or taking short cuts. It is not clear if they were working on estimating, but this teacher looks bad especially when the question asks if the answer is "reasonable", not correct.

I believe this is harmful. While there are most likely aspects of the system that can be improved, the curriculum teaches math. This propaganda does not accurately display the good that the curriculum does.
