This ad promotes self-esteem, the people viewing this ad might not feel this way though. It shows women getting plastic surgery, losing weight, gaining weight and standing on a scale. If a consumer saw this ad it should help the company into getting that consumer as a customer because, once again this ad promotes self-esteem, and it shows most women how you look isn't everything.

I think this is a good way to show little girls that they dont have to have surgery and starve themselves to be beautiful. It is a message for the parents put their children on the right path. It summarizes what exactly the media portrays beauty as, but believe it or not it has gotten worse.

This video is talking about how the world demands the girls of the world to be perfect and the only way to the perfection are things like starving themselves and surgery. The video is aimed towards parents to talk to their kids about not doing things just because they want to be worldly perfect.

Dove tries to inform parents about the influences of the beauty industry and the media on young girls. However they exaggerate and omit the case of girls that are not affected or are affected by other factors. They used a beautiful young girl to attract attention and a lot of fast-paced information to attract attention. Values related to beauty and appearance are contradicted and natural beauty is promoted. Some people might agree and some might feel that this is exaggerated.
