Social Media Post Pits Vets Against Refugees

Background Information
A viral Facebook posts that compares the treatment with Syrian refugees with the treatment of homeless US veterans.

This is propaganda because
It tries to make people angry about perceived preferential treatment to refugees over Veterans. However, there's nothing that says the choice to help is either/or, and no reason to believe not helping refugees would result in more help for Veterans.

We do not feel like this is a harmful form of propaganda, as the writer is not hurting anyone by sharing this. They are simply trying to help a different group of people that needs help.

This is more harmful than not. It shows a picture of a man in uniform in front of a US Flag and his name clearly indicates his ties with military life. While we are grateful to our military, many of our streets and areas are where these homeless vets are, are still much safer than the terror going on in Syria. While I understand the need to help and improve the lives of those who fought for ours, there is still children and those who did not ask to be part of the ongoing war that need help too.

I think this propaganda is very harmful. While it sheds light on homeless veterans who need homes, it is also spreading hate to entire group of people.

I believe this type of propaganda is very beneficial and it is only there for the good. In this scenario he is getting the country to rally behind him due to his belief that the soldiers are treated unfairly.
