Anti lockdown

This example activates strong emotion in the viewer by comparing the national lockdown to the greatest civil rights violation since slavery. It partially uses testimonial by taking attorney general Barr words and changing the meaning of two of the words. The message the creator is trying to distribute is that the national lockdown is a massive civil rights violation, meaning that it wrong and unconstitutional. Therefore the viewer should ignore the lockdown restrictions or actively fight them. I would say this ad is harmful because it further divides the nation on what the appropriate course of action should be. In the comment section of the post, I saw a lot of arguing with individuals agreeing that the lockdown is a massive civil rights violation while others were arguing saying its needed to save lives.
