   I don't see this image as beneficial at all. While semantics can play a significant role in a message, what this image alludes to is that the US military is the villain instead of the terrorist. This could give the wrong idea about the presence of the US military in other countries, where the US military is actually helping to rebuild and protect against terrorism.
   
   The weapon that the individual is carrying in the image incites aggression and fear which plays on the emotions of others. Those who are not educated about military protocol for the US military may be deceived into believing emotionally-driven information.

   This propaganda image makes the audience think about how the words we use influence our perceptions. The two images side by side are exactly the same but the words beneath are different. "Freedom fighter" is a positive statement while "terrorist" is negative. This ad is beneficial because it can help those who see image as a "terrorist" in a new and more positive light. Both images are the same and this ad can help people realize that we may be wrong about Afghan fighters.

   I initially chose that this one was more harmful than beneficial, however when I really thought about it, it was more beneficial than harmful. The way it was explained how it was propaganda made sense when I looked at the image again.

   This piece simplifies an important concept, that how media and government frame movements and individuals affect public perception of them. This is a fairly beneficial reminder to be thoughtful of the information we consume and regurgitate.
