Wow. That so many people saw this as negative is distressing. Negative how? It portrays an "immigrant" as smart, caring person? Is that what bothers those folks? Or, perhaps you just don't like being reminded that, except for Native Americans, we are ALL immigrants? Or, maybe you just don't like immigrants who come from some parts of the world? Regardless, those who don't get this need to take some time to consider this issue more rationally - and morally.
