The video simply uses portraits of Chinese women from different places at different ages. Those faces are typical and easy to strike a chord among Chinese. The aim is to encourage Chinese women to record their distinctive beauty, of course, with Meitu products. It’s not harmful because in traditional Chinese value women are ignored and the ad conveys an idea of expression and confidence.
