As COVID has hit the US sickness wise, it has grown to be way more than that. As the arms of what it looks to appear as Uncle Sam handing a bat to the COVID sickness bacteria, stating that not one that the virus is taking over globally, but there is to be so much harm to be done beyond that. In today's society with the sense of shots and vaccines, the world has been able to react to how governments have handled the pandemic and the situation overall.

    This interpretation is a very obvious, yet creative one that captures the political climate of 2020-even through to today. The "science debate" has turned political, and the illustration seems to show in a sort of comical way that the virus spreads through the divide in politics. I'd agree that this simplifies ideas, but maybe it could be seen as an attack of the opponents. I only say this because the masked cell seems to be the "good guy" meaning masks are good, and the virus obviously evil.
