When I first saw this photo right after this event, I thought it was a very symbolic photo. As a photographer myself, everything about this photo is amazing. The metaphors and symbolism that can be pulled from this photo are endless. That being said, I did not like how the photo was being used. The right was using this photo to make Trump seem godlike and to show that he shows no fear in the midst of conflict, even after being shot. This photo did what MAGA wanted it to do: it made Trump seem like he can conquer all, especially after being attacked. It only strengthened the bond between Trump and his supporters.
