    I think this is harmful because it is not informative and as stated, it oversimplifies the issue.

    As a military veteran, I'd definitely say that this is a good representation of how American foreign policy is often over simplified. The U.S. has to contend with different (often opposing) ideals, cultural values, and traditions not only when dealing directly with other countries, but also when trying to mediate between allies. It's a lot more complicated than most people think.

    This political cartoon questions the motives of the US and represents a view that the US government cares little for the people of Syria. It's harmful propaganda because it limits the ability of the cease fire and peace process. It also omits another important player in the Syrian issue: the Russian government.
