    It is harmful to the NRA because it makes it seem like they dont care about people and that all they want to do is protect guns.

    This political cartoon shows the powerful way in which our politicians & government protect the gun lobby. It’s a shocking indictment on the way that special interests control our lawmakers and our (lack of) safety.

    This propaganda of Uncle Sam protecting the NRA is harmful. It emphasizes that the US government cares more about the protection of guns rather than its own civilians. This propaganda can normalize violence, negatively play with our emotions, and can create a division in society (us vs. them). Additionally, it can be a harmful misrepresentation by oversimplifying an issue thats much more complex.
