Anti-Corruption Prosecutor Struggles in Romania

Laura Codruta Koevesi, Romania's former anticorruption chief, oversaw the prosecution of dozens of high-level officials. Romanians officials fired her as a means to protect the ruling elite. She's now the front-runner to become the EU's chief public prosecutor -- but Romania's ruling party is actively campaigning against her.
