Drive Like Your Kids Live Here

Contexte
These are signs that flood tourist filled communities, the locals create these signs so to inform out of towners they need to be careful about how fast they drive.
Technique utilisée
Activate Emotion
Pourquoi est-ce un message d'influence?
This is propaganda because it simplifies what the main party is trying to get through to the audience. It also activates the emotions of the audience to think of their own home towns and their children and that they would be very upset if tourists were speeding and endangering their children as well.

I see these signs all over my neighborhood when I am home in NH. I think that these signs are pretty useful because it does reduces the amount of times people will speed in the neighborhood.

I feel like these signs are much more useful than signs that just say "drive slowly" (or something similar to that), since it does make the viewers stop and think about what they're doing a bit more. I think that it relies a bit too much on emotional appeal however, as people without kids won't necessarily care as much.
