    Propaganda speelt in op menselijke emoties - angst, hoop, woede, frustratie, sympathie - om het publiek naar het gewenste doel te leiden. In essentie is propaganda een denkspel: de bekwame propagandist misbruikt de angsten en vooroordelen van mensen.

    Techniek: Tegenstanders aanvallen

    Propaganda kan dienen als een vorm van politieke en sociale oorlogsvoering om tegenstanders aan te wijzen en er kwaad over te spreken. Daardoor kan er twijfel ontstaan over de legitimiteit, de geloofwaardigheid of zelfs het karakter van de tegenstanders.

The Mind Over Media platform enables users to share examples of contemporary propaganda for educational purposes using crowdsourcing. Anyone can upload an example of propaganda and comment on it, considering its potential impact on public opinion. The translations and adaptations of this platform have been co-financed by European Commission Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology as part of the Pilot Project – Media Literacy For All Grant agreement no LC-00644630
